Sedation Dentistry

Many patients who have suffered through years of poor dental health because of their fear of the dentist, have reported that sedation dentistry has changed their lives by helping to restore the health and beauty of their smiles.

They describe the sedation dentistry experience as a sleep-like state, though technically it’s not sleep. After a procedure, the patient returns to his/her non-sedated state, refreshed, alert and with little or no memory of the dental procedure that just took place. Considering this, it’s easy to understand how we can often complete extensive dental work, caused by years of neglect due to a patient’s fear of the dentist, in one or two visits.

Sedation dentistry also works well for patients who have very sensitive teeth; have complex dental problems; or experience difficulty with local anesthetics such as Novocaine. It’s also a good option for patients who have limited time to complete extensive dental work, as it allows them to quickly and comfortably get the dental care they need in one or two extended visits.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”3350″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border_circle_2″ border_color=”turquoise” css_animation=”fadeIn”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
